Oyanova is a home for Black and Brown visionaries exploring healing, identity, science, and transformation beyond survival. Through our newsletter, podcast, and community offerings, we bring together quantum curiosity, cultural reflection, mental health-informed insight, and real conversations about what it means to become more fully ourselves. Created by Dr. Jessica Esquivel, a queer Black and Afrolatine physicist, author, and science communicator, and Emily Esquivel, an LCPC therapist and healing practitioner, Oyanova is where science, healing, culture, care, and liberation converge. Our work invites readers to question old models, reimagine what thriving can look like, and find language for the inner and outer transformations shaping their lives. Expect reflections on self-discovery, relationships, nervous system care, identity, creativity, AI, physics, liberation, and the everyday practice of building a life that feels aligned, expansive, and whole.
